Malvina
Reynolds: Song Lyrics and Poems
Untitled
Notes: by Malvina
Reynolds; previously unpublished.
Today is the day I grow old.
My face has fallen in a certain mould
But I have told my mirror little lies,
And put bright frames around my eyes.
But now the calendar agrees
With the stiffness in my knees,
And my gray hair, that people used to say
Was startling with so young a face,
Now seems in place.
